April showers bring Bockenplautz flowers?

Ah, spring... the time in a middle aged man's life when his fancies turn to superior acoustic powerpop.

Luckily for you, we've got just the fix!

We've had a busy late-winter with the band with some great shows, and this upcoming gig is the culmination of some hard work and awesome energy from the group. It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock in roll, or so it is said.

This Saturday night- April 12 - we play at our favorite rock club in MKE - Club Garibaldi's - with some really good friends. We've put together an amazing evening of acoustic music from all ends of the spectrum, all for your personal enjoyment. Aren't we so sweet?

8pm-ish - Beguhn-Speck Project. The BSP features Adam Speck, who is an virtuoso acoustic guitarist, and Steve Beguhn, accountant by day and ROCK STAR by night, a Hollywood finalist on American Idol Season 10, and perhaps the finest voice this side of the Kinnickinnic River. Their music features really creative arrangements of modern pop and rock songs, with a side of whimsy.

9:30pm-ish - Bockenplautz. Y'all mind if we dance with your dates?

11pm - Matt "MF" Tyner. Matt is one of the finest roots/blues/country/rock acoustic artists in Milwaukee, and plays regularly as a solo artist or with his band The Carpetbaggers. He's fresh off a two week tour of the Carribbean, so he's nicely tanned, which is a bonus. Also, he just found out he's nominated for a Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) award for 2014 Male Vocalist of the Year! WOW!

I honestly don't think this show could be any better.

Plus, it's your last chance to get any Superior Acoustic Powerpop until late May!

See you there.
